The rusty patched bumble bee has made it to the endangered list. This bee has seen an 88% decrease in population. The decline is due to agriculture and genetic diversity caused from diminishing habitat in the Northeast US and Canada. Here in Arizona we have the Hunt’s Bumble Bee and the Great Basin Bumble bee that are on the watch list. We count on bumble bees to pollinate our trees and flowers. Our food.
